B Vitamins: The Unsung Heroes of Energy, Performance & Recovery

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine hydrochloride): Performance Meets Recovery
Vitamin B6 has a remarkably broad job description.
It participates in amino-acid metabolism and is involved in processes relating to neurotransmitter and immune cell production. That creates an important connection between nutrition, neurological function and physical performance.
When you’re exercising, concentrating for hours or recovering from a demanding day, your nervous system is very much part of the workload.
And B6 becomes even more interesting when considered alongside folate and B12, because these nutrients participate in interconnected metabolic pathways rather than operating independently.
It also contributes to normal psychological function and reduced tiredness according to established nutritional science (2).
Vitamin B9 (Methylfolate): Why Form Matters

Many supplements still use folic acid, a synthetic form that requires multiple conversion steps before becoming biologically active.
Approximately 40–60% of people worldwide carry the common MTHFR gene variants that reduce this conversion efficiency.
