Circl Run 001

Circl Run 001

Circl Run 001 is in the books — and I’m still buzzing.  Seeing community gather on a Sunday morning to share some k’s, laughs, and conversation really reminds me why I started this brand: to fuel rad people in the community.

The crew that showed up braved some not-so-spring like conditions with a fresh snow dump the day before and temps hovering around zero degrees.  Nonetheless, smiles were on!  There were runners, prams, toddler bikes, and dogs — a fun mob running and riding through the gardens.

A dose of magic early on as we were unloading gear we ran into a friend, Andrew Robinson (@toughyarns) who was a few days out from flying up north to tackle NZ’s Great Rides - read more HERE.  Andrew ended up staying for the run and lead us on the classes Queenstown Park Run 5km course.

It’s easy for the K’s to fly by with the Queenstown scenery, and good chats.  It’s easy to forget how good it feels to run in community - I’m often training solo but more recently I’ve been plugging into run clubs, and finding such joy in sharing the sport.  Less watching my pace & heart rate stats, more connection.

These types of mornings are the heartbeat of Circl.  There’s much more depth than just hydration - it’s about showing up, finding that inner discipline, and leaving a bit better than you started.

Post run we fuelled with Hydrate+ and some well deserved croissants.  These are the exact moments the product was designed for.  It’s easy to let the recovery slip, especially on socials runs like this, so to be able to quickly replace lost electrolytes, and onboard aminos to start recovery really makes all the difference.  See what all the buzz is about…

Circl Run 002 is in the works!  Stay tuned - we’d love to see you there.

Thanks for being part of the Circl community!
